The internet archive has opened up a wonderful means to read books hitherto unknown or lesser known to common man like me. Recently,while surfing for a particular book,came across a wonderful sight,which enables one to download valuable books. Downloaded some books giving search options 'nadia'. So many books were available.It was interesting to learn from a book that there was once a ice club and meat club(?) at Krishnagar during the British era.Further.Officers had to go to Krishnagar through Bagula by train and therefrom to Krishnagar by other means of transport.
Some valuable pictures on the indigo cultivation in Nadia may be seen from Grant's book.
